One night at Pasaati is a game where you are stuck at a shopping mall at night and you are trying to get out. Straigtforward stuff, right? After all you are not alone.
The game's main mechanic is that the monster only hears, so if you open a vent and it makes the sound, the monster hears it and comes there, if you run, the monster hears you and tries to find you. Whatever makes a sound that isn't in the ambience the monster registers it and makes it way there.
The game was made with a team of 4 in a game jam (Fuxi game jam 2025 autumn) where the theme was "Don't Move".
I was our team's main 3D artist and I built a modular wall set, the base floor for the map and some props.
We made the game using Unity engine. I only did 3D stuff like the mall floor, it's walls as a modular set and some props to be used to decorate the mall. The modular set consisted of 10 parts which most of them were for the vents.
I also did level design. I designed a lot of the shops of the mall. I also decorated the mall using my props and my teammate's props.
On top of those I also made most of the textures like the walls, wood for the crates and metal to the vents.
